Elevation of homelessness and hunger our the main goals of Good Samaritan Outreach Center. When the Good Samaritan Outreach Center opened its door to those in need in the South Toledo Community in 1989, it fed nearly 300 persons a month. Today, we feed over 5000 each month. We are here to attack the problem of homelessness, and help individuals become productive members in society. This is established through our faith-based programs including free drug/alcohol counseling, community service opportunities for at-risk juveniles and adults, mentorships, and job training. We are located in the heart of the Hispanic Community and also serve a large number of African-Americans. First, we meet the need of the physical body through a nutritious meal, a hot shower, personal hygiene products, and clean clothing and shoes. In addition, we work with each person to meet their financial and spiritual needs. Our bilingual staff is prepared to listen and talk with anyone who has a problem.
OutreachCenters.net: We work hard to provide as much pertinent information as possible about the outreach centers listed on the website. This is a difficult task
as their is so much valuable information and such little time to obtain it. If you see that our listing does not provide enough information or is no longer a valid
outreach center, please let us know by filling out the comment form below.
