Outreach Connect Group provides education, access to technology, broadband Internet access, and technology support to low-income communities in the State of Washington. Our two programs focus on multifamilies and seniors. Our objective is to provide the means for participants to better their lives through technology. Our programs are designed to introduce users to technology and build their skill and confidence. Also, they are designed to educate participants on how to use technology to further their education, create resumes, start careers, find information and communicate with family and friends. The communities that will receive our programs are in great need of assistance. They consist of senior citizens 62 years and over, families, singles and disabled children. Many of the residents are immigrants from Russian, the Ukraine, Asia and Mexico and speak English as a second language. All residents earn less than 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and less than 50% of the AMI for Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Twenty percent have never used a computer. Without access to technology and education these communities have a distinct disadvantage. Competing for jobs, advancing to higher paying jobs, getting a better education, finding information and communicating with family and friends is difficult to impossible.

as their is so much valuable information and such little time to obtain it. If you see that our listing does not provide enough information or is no longer a valid
